A former practicing attorney located in Phoenix, Sal Rivera spent 15 years with Fennemore-Craig. During his time as an associate and partner with the law firm, he represented an array of business clients, from small startups to Fortune 500 corporations. In addition, he represented the law firm in community matters. In 2010, he established his own law practice, the Rivera Law Firm in Phoenix, where he spent a decade. Sal Rivera focused on resolving complex business disputes between owners, through trial, mediation, and arbitration. He functioned as a legal resource for the community, providing pro bono legal services.
Sal Rivera earned his law degree at the University of Chicago Law School. He also holds a bachelor of arts in history from Arizona State University. He is the co-founder of the Arizona Latino Research Enterprise and is also a past member of the Xicanindio Artes Board of Directors. His personal interests include boxing, playing the drums, and spending time with his family.
